QUALITY ASSURANCE
Quality Assurance for
Precision Converted Components
Quality is controlled through material review, process verification, dimensional inspection, and release documentation - not left to final sorting. Labelsun supports OEM programs with inspection points built around the component structure, material behavior, drawing requirements, and production process. From incoming material checks to in-process review and final release, our goal is to help converted components remain consistent from prototype validation to repeat production.
Process control for printed, die-cut, laminated, conductive, thermal, and adhesive-backed components.
Material review before production release
In-process verification during printing, lamination, and die-cutting
Dimensional and functional checks based on project requirements
Controlled release records for OEM production batches

Process Control, Not Just Inspection
A structured quality workflow helps control material fit, process stability, dimensional accuracy, and release documentation before components move into OEM assembly.
STAGE 01
Material Verification
Incoming material information, substrate condition, and project requirements are reviewed before release to production.
STAGE 02
In-Process Review
Printing, lamination, die-cutting, and defect removal are checked during production to confirm process stability.
STAGE 03
Dimensional Inspection
Critical dimensions are checked against drawings using optical measurement, thickness checks, or other inspection methods.
STAGE 04
Functional & Release Checks
Electrical, resistance, bonding, or application-specific checks are performed when required before batch release.
Quality Built Into Each Production Stage
For OEM converted components, quality control is planned around the material stack-up, manufacturing route, and assembly requirement - not treated as a single final inspection step.

MODULE A
QC_01 / MATERIAL
Material Verification
Material verification starts before production. Labelsun reviews substrate type, adhesive system, liner format, certificate information when required, and incoming material condition against the project requirement.
Material identification and incoming condition review
Supplier or certificate information checked when required
Surface, adhesive, and liner suitability reviewed before production
Dimensional confirmation applied when the drawing requires it

MODULE B
QC_02 / PROCESS
In-Process Review
In-process review helps detect production variation before it becomes a batch issue. Operators check print registration, lamination condition, die-cut quality, waste removal, and visual defects during the production flow.
Print registration and surface appearance checks
Lamination review for bubbles, lifting, or alignment concerns
Die-cut quality and waste removal confirmation
Process stability review before continued production

MODULE C
QC_03 / DIMENSION
Dimensional Inspection
Dimensional inspection confirms whether the converted component matches the drawing and assembly requirement. Depending on the product, Labelsun may check outline size, hole position, window position, thickness, width, length, or registration features.
Optical measurement for critical geometry and alignment
Thickness, width, and length checks according to drawing needs
Verification of die-cut outlines, holes, windows, and registration marks
Inspection records maintained according to project requirements

MODULE D
QC_04 / RELEASE
Functional & Release Checks
Functional checks are applied when the component requires electrical, resistance, bonding, shielding, thermal, or application-specific verification. Release checks help confirm that the batch is ready for shipment with the required documentation and inspection records.
Resistance or electrical checks for functional materials when required
Adhesion, bonding, or application-specific review based on project needs
Final visual and packaging checks before release
Controlled release records maintained for OEM production support
Inspection & Verification Equipment
Measurement tools are selected according to the product structure, material behavior, and drawing requirement.
EQ_01
XRF Screening Support
Used when material composition or restricted substance screening is required by the project.
EQ_02
Optical Measurement
Used for dimensional checks on outlines, holes, windows, and registration-critical features.
EQ_03
Thickness Measurement
Used to verify foam, film, adhesive, gasket, and laminated material thickness.
EQ_04
Functional / Resistance Test
Used for conductive, shielding, or application-specific materials when electrical checks are required.
Controlled Records & Quality Documentation
Quality records support project review, batch release, and repeat production. Documentation is maintained according to the product requirement and production process.
For OEM converted components, inspection documentation should reflect the production route and the risk points of the component. Labelsun maintains controlled inspection and release records according to project requirements, including dimensional verification, material review, process checks, and batch release information. These records help engineering and purchasing teams review how a component was produced, inspected, and released.
DOC_01
Inspection Points
Inspection points are defined around drawing requirements, material stack-up, process route, and application risk.
DOC_02
Dimensional Verification Records
Critical dimensions can be recorded according to the project drawing and inspection plan.
DOC_03
Process Review Records
Printing, lamination, die-cutting, and functional material checks are documented when required.
DOC_04
Batch Release Documentation
Release records support controlled shipment and repeat OEM production programs.
ISO PROOF
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
Labelsun operates under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management framework for printed labels, die-cutting, and converted component production.
